 Our Vision 

 

To promote education amongst the Mosiro community of the Massai so as to create a society free from all forms of violence against women and children including FGM (female genital Mutilation) and to ensure every child regardless of gender is given a chance to thrive.

 

History

 

▪1999 founded as a free boarding school for girls by International NGO (non governmental 

  organization)

▪lack of funding causes school to stop being free

 

 Present state

 

▪Lack of funds: Main sources of the insufficient funds are Kenyan government, volunteers

▪Size: 320 students and rising quickly; 10 teachers paid by govt. and the PTA

▪Severe underinvestment: It has been 18 years since the school experienced any renovation
